How the study planner works
A plain scheduling formula, not a recommendation engine: the time between today and your exam date is split into three phases.
Step 1
Concept Building (~60% of weeks)
Round-robins through Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English (and Computer Aptitude for CSIT), one subject per week.
Step 2
Practice & Mock Tests (~25%)
Alternates full timed mock tests with topic-wise CBT practice on your weakest subject.
Step 3
Final Revision (~15%)
Revisits your mock-test weak spots, with the last week reserved for light review only.
Study planner, common questions
- How does the Clamphook study planner build my schedule?
- It splits the time between today and your exam date into three phases: roughly 60% concept building (round-robin across your subjects), 25% practice and full mock tests, and 15% final revision. It's a plain scheduling formula, not a recommendation engine, and you can freely reorder or adjust any week.
- Is the study planner free?
- Yes. The planner is free to use for both IOE and CSIT entrance preparation, with no signup required. Your plan and progress are saved in your browser.
- Does the planner work for both IOE and CSIT entrance?
- Yes. Pick IOE for the BE/B.Arch entrance (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English) or CSIT for the BSc CSIT entrance, which adds a Computer Aptitude track. The week-by-week structure adjusts to the subject list for each.
- Will the planner tell me exactly what to study each day?
- It gives you the week-level structure -- which phase and which subject to focus on -- not a daily reading list. Pair it with Clamphook's syllabus breakdown and weekly mock tests to fill in the day-to-day detail.
